Piloting service is performed by company "Branko Pilot" d.o.o, and is available 24 hours a day. Piloting station's VHF: CH 12 and backup CH 9.

The Port of Šibenik has an external and an internal piloting station.

External piloting station is compulsory for all vessels carrying hazardous cargo, as well as for larger vessels that are navigating directly into the Port during bad weather conditions.

External piloting station position is 0.5 NM SE Zlarin island (RAT lighthouse).

Position of the internal piloting station is approximately 0.5 NM N from Drvenik lighthouse on the island of Drvenik.
